Product description:
The output line of the Powell lens has vertex aspheric curvature, and the energy is uniformly distributed. In contrast, cylindrical lenses produce Gaussian beam profiles with hot-spot center points and evanescent edges. The uniformity of the output line is also related to the incident wavelength, beam size, divergence and working distance. In order to obtain a uniform energy distribution, fine-tuning and optimization of the vertex curvature of a specific laser beam is required.
