UV fused silica aspheric lenses have a high numerical aperture (NA) of 0.65, which can provide optimal light gathering and focusing performance, and are very suitable for high-efficiency lighting applications or collimated broadband light sources, LEDs or similar light sources. UV fused silica also provides high transmittance in the UV band and a low thermal expansion coefficient, so it is very suitable for UV to near-infrared applications. The surface of the aspheric lens is optimized, using a more complex outer surface, and the curvature gradually changes from the center of the lens to the outside of the lens edge to reduce the spherical aberration. When focusing a collimated beam, it should be incident on the aspheric side of the lens, and when collimating the light from a point source, it should be incident on the lens plane, which can achieve the minimum spherical aberration.
